At last, my fair ones, it has actually rained, too late for many of my flower flock but some seem to have perked up. My allotment looks wonderful, only because we have wells near each row of plots to take water from, how ever the weeds thrive whatever the weather!!!
Sadly, this is not my plot, its from internet images, but its getting too look good, and next year will look fabulous and full of vegetables and flowers. I have had a great harvest of sugar snap peas, potatoes, lettuces, beetroots, corgettes and runner beans, the marigolds and nasturtiums look so pretty amongst the beans, peas, corgettes and tomatoes. I have leeks, cabbages, broccoli, parsnips and carrots on the way....
